LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) is the world’s most widely used rating system for sustainable buildings. It comprises four levels in ascending order: Certified, Silver, Gold, and Platinum. LEED certification assures tenants that they are using a sustainable property with added ecological value and thus are contributing to sustainability. With energy efficiency becoming increasingly important LEED certification increases the opportunity for investors to increase value.
THE SOURCE offers outstanding sustainability primarily due to revitalization of an existing building. Preserving the “gray matter” of the existing high-rise tower will have an extremely positive effect on the CO 2 balance. The concept of smart home technology, efficient energy utilization and new energy generation means that resources are spared, moreover, on a state-of-the-art level. A comprehensive mobility concept completes the holistic approach. THE SOURCE has therefore already received platinum precertification.
